Since its inception, the Literaturhaus has looked back on a long series of literary events and exhibitions with internationally renowned guests. In October 2005, the Literaturhaus moved to the new, rebuilt Old City Library of Frankfurt, which, in addition to the good location, directly on the banks of the Main and in the center between the adjacent city center, Sachsenhausen-Nord, Bornheim and the Ostend, which opens up every day, is also more diverse and larger Event rooms offered.
