Do you have the vision and experience required to develop an artistic programme that is at once experimental and professional, thereby supporting Kunsthal Aarhus’ strong local as well as global position in the coming years and in the landmark year of 2017 in particular?
In 2017, Kunsthal Aarhus celebrates its 100th anniversary and will participate actively in the European Cultural Capital in Aarhus / Central Denmark Region. Beginning in January 2016, Kunsthal Aarhus is seeking an Artistic Director to shape the institution’s artistic profile in close collaboration with its management and staff.
Kunsthal Aarhus is a significant and ambitious cultural platform that unites many fields with a common focus on the visual arts: international tendencies and global discussions come together with local art scenes and communities with a particular focus on younger audiences and educational institutions. Kunsthal Aarhus seeks to participate in defining the agenda of the art scene and the broader public, locally as well as internationally, and to build positive interest from local and international audience as well as from the press, foundations and politicians.
