In the spirit of spring we are celebrating a few firsts: a presentation of new work by Adam Curtis and his first public conversation with Hans Ulrich Obrist; the first US iteration of Animism, curated by Anselm Franke; and Time/Bank’s first appearance in Geneva.

Adam Curtis: The Desperate Edge of Now
To mark the closing of Adam Curtis: The Desperate Edge of Now, e-flux is delighted to present a special screening of new film footage by Adam Curtis, followed by a conversation between Hans Ulrich Obrist and the filmmaker.

e-flux is pleased to present the fifth iteration of the exhibition Animism, curated by Anselm Franke. Outside the field of art and mass media, discussions on the effect of animation within aesthetics
turn into an ontological battleground at the frontier of colonial modernity. Discussion on Critical Knowledge Production in Art, Science, Activism
e-flux hosts a special discussion with Maria Elena Torre, Public Science Project, New York, Oliver Marchart, political theorist, Vienna and Lucerne, and Danna Vajda, artist and writer, New York, moderated by Nora Sternfeld, ecm, Vienna. Organized in collaboration with ecm, University of Applied arts Vienna.

e-flux book co-op
First presented in the Summer of 2011 at Art Basel as part of a larger e-flux project, and later at the “New York Art Book Fair,” the e-flux book co-op will be parked at MoMA PS1 until May 2012. New additions to the inventory includes: Rabih Mroué: A BAK Critical Reader in Artists’ Practice (BAK and post editions), 2012; Circular Facts (Casco, Objectif Exhibitions, The Showroom, and Sternberg Press) 2011; THIS IS ALL FILM! Experimental Film in Former Yugoslavia 1951-1991 (Moderna Galerija Ljubljana) 2011.
Time/Food restaurant located at Winsstrasse 65 Berlin, has been serving Comida Corrida style home cooking for one half hour every other Sunday since mid-February.

After seven years as a traveling project, e-flux video rental (EVR) has found its permanent home at Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova.
