One service provided by the Kunstverein to it´s members, the so-called “Jahresgaben” has long been established. These “Jahresgaben” are special editions produced specifically for this occasion, above all by artists in close connection with the exhibition activity of the Bonner Kunstverein. Thus the works represent young, cutting-edge artistic positions and can be acquired exclusively by our members at a price distinctly under that of the general market. These are large works, originals and also editions at preferential prices, half of the proceeds of which the artists donate to the Bonner Kunstverein. Thus the current yearly sale is understood as an exclusive offer for our members!

Seventeen artists from this past year’s exhibition program have volunteered their works towards Kunstverein Bonn’s annual end-of-year members’ sale of the so-called “Jahresgaben”: large works, originals and also editions – at preferential prices, half of the proceeds of which the artists donate to the Bonner Kunstverein. In this way they contribute crucially to the realization of coming Kunstverein exhibits. Non-members, who would like to purchase one of this year’s items, are kindly asked to place their order along with a declaration of membership in the Kunstverein. Anyone not yet a member can become one if wishing to buy a “Jahresgabe”, for an annual fee of 55 Euro. You can find information about the Bonner Kunstverein and membership on the Internet at: www.bonner-kunstverein.de including all information on the Kunstverein, it´s exhibitions as well as a complete and illustrated list of artworks from other years that are still available. Among which are works by JOSEPH BEUYS, JOHN BALDESSARI, GEORG HEROLD, by MICHAEL BAUER, or FRIEDRICH KUNATH, to name only a few.

For your order, please use the form you can downloaded from www.bonnerkunstverein.de/fileadmin/sonstiges/Dateien/order2009.pdf or write an email to kontakt@bonner-kunstverein.de. Works, which have been ordered but after two weeks not called for, will then be considered freely available to other members. The annual sale items can, upon receipt of payment, be collected at the Bonn Kunstverein during opening hours or on appointment. If you wish the item to be mailed, it will be sent out after payment has been received. The cost of postage and packaging will be added to the purchasing price. Items from previous years can also be purchased by non-members. We will gladly send you information material on request.
