Installed in the heart of Paris in the prestigious sites of the Grand Palais and the Cour Carrée of the Louvre Museum, FIAC 2006 will welcome a selection of approximately 160 international galleries in the fields of modern art, contemporary art and design.
Fiac is pleased to announce the presence, once again, of long-term exhibitors such as 1900-2000, Daniel Lelong, Karsten Greve, Emmanuel Perrotin, Christian Stein, Denise René, Nächst St Stephan, Yvon Lambert, Lisson Gallery, Thaddaeus Ropac… and the return of 2005s newcomers such as Annely Juda (England), Monica de Cardenas (Italy), Hauser&Wirth, Art&Public, Eva Presenhuber, Buchmann (Switzerland), XL (Russia)…
Fiac is likewise honoured to greet an important number of first-time exhibitors (39 galleries) including Waddington Galleries, Sadie Coles (England), Applicat-Prazan, Cosmic and Laurent Godin (France), Marian Goodman, Barbara Gladstone, Max Lang, James Goodman, Fredric Snitzer, and Leonard Hutton (USA), Landau Fine Art (Canada), Krugier-Ditesheim (Switzerland), Jablonka, Tanit, Michael Werner, Kewenig and Gmurzynska (Germany), Massimo de Carlo, Tucci Russo and Lia Rumma (Italy), Bernier-Eliades (Greece), to name just a few.
Fiac 2006 will also present a programme of artists performances and projections of new release artists films in an especially conceived cinema/auditorium in the Grand Palais together with an ensemble of outdoor projects installed in the Tuileries gardens and the domain of the Louvre Museum.
