Looking for a director

inIVA (the Institute of International Visual Arts)

Director

(Ref: DI001)

inIVA (the Institute of International Visual Arts) is a leading UK contemporary visual arts agency which emphasises cultural diversity and innovative arts practice. We create exhibitions, publications, multi-media, education and research projects designed to bring the work of artists from culturally-diverse backgrounds to the attention of the widest national and international public. In partnership with Autograph ABP, inIVA is establishing an architect-designed building and unique resource base in London with support from the Arts Councils Capital Lottery fund, opening in 2007.

Following the departure of Gilane Tawadros, inIVAs outstanding founding director, and successful completion of the building projects first phase, we are seeking to recruit a new Director to take forward and develop the organisation, see the building project through to completion and lead inIVA into its exciting new phase. The successful candidate must bring to the organisation artistic vision and strategic leadership including a track record in programming and curating, high-level organisational and managerial skills and experience, wide international contacts, a commitment to supporting artists, broadening access and diversifying audiences.
For an application form please visit www.iniva.org (news section) or email generalmanager@iniva.org or write (quoting reference) to
