As an artist-run centre, the Western Front continues to play a critical
role in making Vancouver a leading city for contemporary art. In 2003 we
celebrate three decades of nurturing new talent, while simultaneously
enriching Vancouver with ideas from abroad.

Within its legendary heritage building, Visual Arts, New Media, Music,
Publishing and Performance are combined to create an exciting,
interdisciplinary laboratory of artistic discovery. The continuing
importance of the Western Front has been endorsed by the leading artists
who have generously donated their work to this fundraising event.

The Auction takes place on Saturday, March 8, from 6:30 p.m.
PST to midnight. It features dinner, performances and a live auction
conducted by Hank Bull. Tickets are $150 each; reserve by calling Gabriel at
+1-604-876-9343. A Preview of the works will take place at the
Western Front on Wednesday, March 5th, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.

All welcome!
