Opening Day: Saturday December 14, from noon to midnight
Come help us celebrate the opening of our new home. Opening Ceremony at 7pm. Music and revelry from 8pm to midnight. DJ Little Jukka, aka Nayland Blake. Natural Car Alarms, A Migrating Public Art Project by Nina Katchadourian, will be on Purves Street from noon to 10pm.

2002 SculptureCenter Prize Exhibition
The SculptureCenter Prize is given annually to a talented yet under-recognized New York artist.
Jimbo Blachly will exhibit a new body of work based on natural wells and springs of New York City, exploring aspects of landscape, natural history, and time.
From Clay Club to SculptureCenter: A Timeline
This exhibition traces SculptureCenter’s history from an artist’s studio in Brooklyn in 1928 to the future, including a model for the new building addition designed by Maya Lin. Highlights from past programs and activities will be documented through primary source documents, photographs, and artifacts.
Patrick Killoran: Glass Outhouse
The Glass Outhouse is a portable toilet constructed of a transparent plastic with a one-way mirrored exterior. After its debut at SculptureCenter on December 14th, the Glass Outhouse will be sited at locations around Long Island City throughout the spring and summer.
