Florida Atlantic University’s Schmidt Center Gallery
The influence of the Disney phenomenon on visual arts will be featured in “Never Never Land”, an exhibition of 24 contemporary artists curated by Omar Lopez-Chahoud at Florida Atlantic University’s Schmidt Center Gallery on the Boca Raton campus from Nov. 11 to Dec. 22.
Opening: Nov. 10, 2000 at 7 to 10 pm.

Artists: Bonnie Collura, Jim Anderson, James Angus, Markus Baenziger, Rico Gatson, Arturo Herrera, Pierre Huyghe, Tommy Kenny, Mary Magsamen, Jason Middlebrook, Michael Minelli, Daniel Mirer, Takashi Murakami, Stephan Pascher, Daniela Steinfeld, Gabriele Stellbaum, Brian Tolle and Type A (Adam Ames and Andrew Bordwin).
The exhibition features a series of artists’ videos by Andrea Bowers, Dara Birnbaum, John Espinosa, Alix Lambert, Guy Richards Smit and Charlotta Westergren.
The Schmidt Center Gallery hours are Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 12 to 4 pm, Wednesday 12 to 6 pm, and Saturday 1 to 5pm.
The gallery is located in the Performing Arts Building on FAU’s Boca Raton campus, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton, Florida.
