Andreas Leikauf paints. He finds his conceptual approach in the all-embracing, omnipresent flood of throw-away images in our culture. The detached and modified pictorial subjects are relieved of trivialities and augmented with text fragments or slogans, mainly in English, the language of comics, pulp and pop. The artist lives and works in Vienna.
