As one of the academic events accompanying the 6th Gwangju Biennale 2006, Asian Art Forum World Contemporary Art in the Eyes of Asia took place on December 5-6 at Chonnam National University, Gwangju, Korea. Thematically related to the concept of the Gwagnju Biennale 2006, this forum ran 2 sessions: Tradition and New Identity of Asia (Dec. 5) and Asian Contemporary Art and Global Networking (Dec. 6).
A publication containing the presentation texts and discussions of the Asian Art Forum will follow.
