The Renaissance Society is pleased to announce an online preview of glo(ball), its annual benefit art auction. The auction contains cutting-edge art by today’s most compelling artists, including Mark Barrow, Matthias Bitzer, Henning Bohl, Stéphane Dafflon, Hansjoerg Dobliar, Matias Faldbakken, Alistair Frost, Axel Geis, Melissa Gordon, Michael Hakimi, Jitka Hanzlova, An-My Lê, George Henry Longly, Damian Ortega, Magnus Plessen, Karin Ruggaber, Mark Ruwedel, Sam Samore, Oscar Tuazon, Claudia Wieser, B. Wurtz, and many others.

The online preview of the auction is on view at www.renaissancesociety.org Advance bids are now being accepted online or by phone at (773) 702-8670 until Thursday, October 1, 2009, 5:00 p.m. CST. You do not have to be present at the auction to place an advance bid. All proceeds from the auction support The Renaissance Society’s 2009-2010 exhibition season.
