The Renaissance Society will present an exhibition by Vietnam-born, Berlin-based artist Danh Vo, opening on September 23rd. Over the past five years, Vo has emerged as one of the most significant voices of his generation, garnering international acclaim for a body of work in which the artists biography and history are interchangeable.

The Renaissance Society will present new and previously exhibited work by Vo, in addition to collaborating with the Art Institute of Chicago to bring Voʼs ongoing project We The People to Chicago and the University of Chicago campus in Hyde Park. Fragments will be installed at the Oriental Institute, the Booth School of Business and University of Chicago Law School.
