P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center December 10th, 17th, and January 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th. 2pm to 6pm, every half hour FREE Henry Darger’s watercolors that are featured in the exhibition “Disasters of War” are illustrations to a 15,000 page text he wrote on an imaginary war between the Vivan Girls and the evil Glandolinians.  Every half hour, a performer will guide visitors through the show by reciting memorized excerpts from the manuscript, and giving a “docent tour” of the works in Darger’s own (often eccentric) words.
