Panelists include prominent cultural historians, an artist and a curator, all of whose writings appear in The Museum of Modern Art’s new publication Primary Documents: A Sourcebook for Eastern and Central European Art since the 1950s. The first English-language collection of documents on modern art drawn directly from the artistic archives of Eastern and Central Europe, this important volume serves as an introduction to the region’s major artistic and critical movements from the latter half of the twentieth century.
