New Contemporaries continues to be the leading and longest-running open submission, touring exhibition, which showcases some of the most dynamic and engaging work emerging from UK art schools. Since 1949, we have provided a professional platform, beyond the context of art school, for new artists’ work to become visible and to be discussed often for the first time.

Designed to offer an invaluable platform to a new generation of talent, New Contemporaries is an established favourite on the art calendar, renowned for its fresh selection of artists and ambitious exhibitions year-on-year. In addition to the platform that the annual exhibition provides, from 2015 New Contemporaries will expand its professional development support for artists through one-to-one mentoring, workshops, studio bursaries and other opportunities.

Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2015 will launch in venues across Nottingham before travelling to London.

Submissions for Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2015 are now open and will close 8 February 2015.

Applications are welcome from final year students and those who graduated from UK art schools in 2014 applying as artists or as collaborative groups. Every single work submitted will be reviewed and discussed by our expert panel of selectors: Hurvin Anderson, Jessie Flood-Paddock and Simon Starling.

Sponsored by Bloomberg, New Contemporaries is a National Portfolio Organisation (NPO) and Registered Charity.
