R U OFF 2 VENICE?

If you’re going to the opening of the Venice Biennale this year, and you have a mobile phone, why not sign up to receive SMS text messages from frieze in Venice. We’ll text you 3-5 times a day between the 6th and 9th June to let you know where you should be – whether that’s the best show, most splendid pavilion or party – and what’s not worth bothering with.  (See below for how to sign up).

If you are not going to Venice then, never mind, there’s the summer issue of frieze to read: Richard Prince’s autographed photos, Jessica Craig-Martin’s sequins against gooseflesh, David Hamilton’s vaseline-lensed erotic images, Torbjørn Rødland’s soft-focus photos, and Michael Bracewell on the blurred Glam aesthetic of 70s rockers…perfect for a sticky afternoon.

To receive SMS messages, here’s what to do:
Email beatrice@frieze.co.uk with your name and mobile number, remembering to include your country code (v. important) or call  44 (0)20 7813 5555 and ask to register for the Venice SMS.

If you know anyone else who might be interested, please forward this email to them, but hurry, as places on the list are limited.

          ********************************************************

frieze is providing the Venice SMS service free of charge.  Most network providers will not charge you for receiving text messages in Italy, but we are advised that some may.  Please check with your network provider in advance, as we cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen charges.  We will not, of course, divulge your number to any third party.
