Higher Institute for Fine Arts (HISK)

HISK offers postgraduate training in visual and audiovisual arts. The institute emphasizes on individual practice. The program aims to achieve a practical balance between studio practice, discussions with guest speakers, workshops, reading groups, field trips and public presentations. The international composition of the laureates promotes cross-pollination and dialogue. The diversity of international guest speakers (artists, curators, critics, theorists, etc.) provides a framework in which the laureates learn to take a critical look at their own work.
