The Foundation’s Art and Culture Area takes in the activities of visual arts, music, conferences and cinema, as well as the Library. 

The Fundación Botín’s Visual Arts Programme revolves around three main areas of activity: Education, through international workshops led by leading international artists and including grants for up-and-coming artists; Research focusing on the drawings of the greatest Spanish artists of all times; International exhibitions sponsored by the Foundation itself or stemming from its research and education programmes. Moreover, the progress has continued on the future Botín Centre, which is sure to become an international benchmark for art, culture and educational activity.
