Busan Biennale

Busan Biennale is a representative contemporary art festival co-hosted by Busan Metropolitan City, integrated into three different international exhibitions which had been autonomously held in the Busan area. Since Busan International Art Festival 2000, Busan Biennale has grown up as a representative biennale in Asia as well as in Korea, hosting exhibitions seven times successfully. Also, it has been favorably received by citizen of Busan and the domestic/foreign art scene as harmonizing the culture and history of Busan as well as characteristics of a port city into the exhibitions.
