Since its founding in 1992, Art Omi has supported international artists across disciplines, serving as a lab space that nurtures and commissions forward-thinking projects in nascent stages of development and catalyzes expanded contexts for significant works due for critical reappraisal.

Art Omi is a not-for-profit arts center in the Hudson Valley, 2.5 hours driving distance from New York City, featuring over 60 large-scale works in nature throughout its 120-acre Sculpture & Architecture Park, contemporary art exhibitions in the Newmark Gallery, five residency programs - Art Omi: Architecture, Art Omi: Artists, Art Omi: Dance, Art Omi: Music, and Art Omi: Writers - hosting artists from around the world, and a thriving arts education program serving people of all ages and abilities. Art Omi is free to all, with grounds open every day, from dawn to dusk, year-round.

Art Omi believes that exposure to internationally diverse creative voices working across a range of disciplines fosters acceptance and respect, raises awareness, inspires innovation, and ignites change. By forming community with creative expression as its common denominator, Art Omi creates a sanctuary for the artistic community and the public to affirm the transformative quality of art.
