Kunstbunker-Forum

Since 1994, the “kunstbunker” has been a forum for displaying and experimenting with contemporary art in Nuremberg, with the hope of strengthening interest in and building an ambiance, acceptance, and respect for art. A programming committee of representatives from the Art Academy of Nuremberg, the Association of Nuremberg Art Galleries, as well as, in an advisory function, the Department of Cultural Affairs of the City of Nuremberg, organizes exhibitions and activities to this end. The committee seeks to avoid the trap of solipsistic activities and instead make possible the encounter with artistic viewpoints in a space of analysis, educational debate, and cooperation.
