CAMPAIGN & PRODUCTS is a collaborative art project with several corporations in Japan, organized and curated by Keiichi Miyagawa and Takuji Kogo. All images are from product advertisements on print media re-mixed into a video sculpture and presented in the museum space. The project dramatizes the quality of everyday consumer life by representing products as anonymous artworks, removing their textual information, and turning them into a digital projection @ KITAKYUSHU MUNICIPAL MUSEUM OF ARTS.

A parallel exhibition entitled WEDDING (Aug. 17 - Sept. 5), at Gallery Soap, Kitakyushu, will present empty bridal sets. http://www5e.biglobe.ne.jp/~soap/wedding/

Organizers:

Keiichi Miyagawa runs Gallery Soap. He organizes many curatorial projects, in Kitakyushu in Japan, and is a member of the artists group Second Planet.

Takuji Kogo is the organizer of CANDY FACTORY PROJECTS, a platform for international collaborative art projects both on- and offline.

WEB PROJECT by CANDY FACTORY, in collaboration with Y0UNG-HAE CHANG HEAVY INDUSTRIES at http://www.trans.artnet.or.jp/~transart/campaign/
