The word PINDORAMA - "land of palm trees" - defines home to the native population of Brazil. ENTRE invites us to come in - to meet and discuss Brazilian contemporary art. By taking up ideas of a trend within Brazilian modern art - namely "Antropofagia", a vision of cultural revival, pleading for a positive and empathetic form of contact with the Other - the project introduces a cultural practice through an exhibition, films and panels. ENTRE PINDORAMA should be regarded as a stimulation for discussions on dealing with other cultures in the cultural circles of Western countries.
