Founders and artistic directors of the Biennale of Ceramic in
Contemporary
Art, Tiziana Casapietra and Roberto Costantino, are pleased to announce
that guest curators of the 2nd edition of the Biennale are:

- Gianfranco Maraniello Art Critic; Independent Curator at MACRO,

- Hans-Ulrich Obrist Curator at the Musée d'Art Moderne de la
Ville de

- Olu Oguibe Senior fellow, Vera List Center for Art and Politics,

York. Curator of exhibitions for major institutions including the Tate

1st edition of the Biennale traveling to the Ariana Musée in Geneva
Please note that the 1st edition of the Biennale of Ceramic in
Contemporary Art which successfully opened for the very first time last
July 2001 in the worldwide famous pottery center Albisola (Italy), is
about to traveling to the Ariana Musée in Geneva (opening June 26;
through
September 2, 2002).

of Ceramic and Globalization of Contemporary Art"
Moreover, this coming October 19/20, 2002 the 16th century Fortezza del
Priamar in Savona (Italy), the biggest fortress on the Mediterranean
See,
will be setting of the international meeting "Local Tradition of Ceramic
and Globalization of Contemporary Art" presenting, among the others,
lectures by the aforementioned guest curators of the 2nd Biennale.
The Biennale is invited to the 2nd conference on "Biennials in
Dialogue"
We also take this opportunity to inform that the Biennale of Ceramic in
Contemporary Art has been invited to the second conference on "Biennials
in Dialogue" (9/11 of June 2002) organized by the Institute for Foreign
Affairs (Ifa) and the Museum for Modern Art (MMK) in Frankfurt/Main.
