The 25th Anniversary Benefit Selections Exhibition is view
through
Saturday, October 26th. The Drawing Center is open Tuesday Friday
10-6
and Saturday 11-6.
Since it opened in 1977, The Drawing Center has introduced the work of
over 750 emerging artists in nearly 100 Selections exhibitions and over
20
Drawing Room projects. The Drawing Center is the only not-for-profit
institution in the U.S. to focus solely on the exhibition of drawings,
both historical and contemporary. It was established in 1976 to provide
opportunities for emerging and under-recognized artists; to demonstrate
the significance of drawings throughout history; and to stimulate public
dialogue on issues of art and culture. For more information on The
Drawing Center, please visit our web site at http://www.drawingcenter.org.
