NYU Grey Art Gallery director Lynn Gumpert will be on hand for
the
gallerys new series of First Wednesday Salons, informal
gatherings held
from 6 to 8 pm on the first Wednesday of each month that the gallery is
open to the public. Please join her and her guests in conversations
about
our current exhibition, Between Word and Image: Modern Iranian Visual
Culture, which features modern Iranian paintings and sculpture of the
1960s and 70s from the NYU Art Collection, documentary photographs by
Abbas, and street posters from the 1979 Revolution.
