The Royal College of Art is the only wholly postgraduate institution of university status devoted to the study of art, design, humanities and communications.
The Printmaking Programme is seeking an artist with an active exhibiting/publishing profile to work as a part-time Tutor.The Printmaking Programme holds a broad interpretation of print, placing equal importance on the practice and theory of the subject in all its manifestations. The specialist nature of the course allows us to work to expand ideas of print both practically in our well-equipped workshops and intellectually through seminars, exhibitions and publishing. An understanding of analog / digital processes and an interest in the social practice of print or artists books could be an advantage. The Tutor will be expected to oversee a tutorial group and to assume such responsibilities for the administration of the course as required by the Head of Programme.
