Barbican seeks Creative Learning Curator (Visual Arts)

A Creative Learning division, incorporating Barbican Education and Guildhall Connect, has been established to develop and deliver a range of world-class creative learning programmes involving music, theatre, visual arts, cinema, dance and literature across the Barbican Centre and Guildhall School. The new Creative Learning division will provide inspirational insights and opportunities across the Barbican Centre and Guildhall School’s broad spectrum of programmes.

Candidates should have a proven dedication to learning and access across the arts and substantial experience of working in public galleries or museums. A nationally and internationally recognized innovative visual arts curator or educationalist, you should also possess strong business skills, including experience in partnership management, and bring a thorough understanding of the education sector. Your experience will encompass working with artists and curators, and you will be an accomplished communicator and people manager.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and as part of the selection process the successful applicant will be required to obtain a Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure.
