All emerging, independent curators are invited to submit proposals for exhibitions in the NURTUREart Gallery for the 2008 – 2009 season.
Each year our exhibition program is primarily selected from this call by a panel of noteworthy guest jurors. Curators may submit proposals for group exhibitions on any theme or concept with six or more artists, at least half of which must be in the NURTUREart Artists Registry.
This fast growing registry currently includes over 1200 exciting emerging artists and is free and open to join. Please visit us in person to view at 910 Grand Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Thursdays through Mondays from noon to 6 pm.
For complete submission guidelines and further information, please visit our website at http://www.nurtureart.org and select “Opportunities”. There you can download a PDF containing the application form, detailed guidelines, and advice on preparing your proposal (select “printer
friendly version”).
On Saturday, April 5th at 4 pm we will hold a workshop on proposal writing, please join us to learn what goes into a strong, successful proposal.
