Seventh edition
Ch.ACO, the Contemporary Art Fair of Chile, is pleased to announce that applications for its seventh edition are now open. The Fair will take place from September 23 to 27, and once again it will be held in the XX century patrimonial Mapocho Station Cultural Center of Santiago, a capital known nowadays as a booming city in Latin America.
Main section
Main sectionis focused on established and cutting-edge galleries of contemporary art displaying 20th- and 21st-century artworks. The galleries of this sector must be at least three years old, a permanent exhibition space, and host at least four shows per year.
Corporate acquisitions and collections
The fair counts with the Philanthropic and Patronage Programme FAVA Collection (Foundation Visuals Arts Associated Chile), curated by Pablo León de la Barra and also with private companies and public institutions that use this platform to exhibit their collections of contemporary art acquired, year after year, thorough Art Awards Projects produced in collaboration with Ch.ACO.
Art Week in Chile
The first week of October, in association with institutions, museums, and other public art festivals, Santiago shows its cultural face during Ch.ACO, featuring important exhibition openings and art events throughout the city.

Ch.ACO
Founded in 2009, Ch.ACO Art Fair is the most relevant platform for visual art in Chile, active all year: its work has been aimed, since the beginning, at the internationalization of Chilean contemporary art and the growth of collecting practices. In its six years, Ch.ACO has brought people closer to art, building up knowledge, curiosity, and opportunities in the context of an ever-progressing country. During the five days of the event, it calls more than 50,000 people including national and international collectors, curators, buyers, institutions, artists, experts, critics, and press, and exhibitors mainly came from Latin America, Europe, United States.
