Applications are now open for the second edition of ArtInternational, Istanbul’s newest and most prestigious international art fair. Galleries are invited to apply in the categories of Modern & Contemporary Art, Younger Galleries & Special Projects before March 14, 2014.
Returning to the Haliç Congress Center, a stunning waterside location on the banks of Istanbul’s historic Golden Horn, ArtInternational will once again bring together leading local and international galleries, offering collectors unrivaled access to the most exciting art from Turkey, Europe, the Middle East and beyond.
Participants at the inaugural ArtInternational in 2013 came from Europe, North and South America, Turkey and the Middle East to Istanbul, where a thriving art scene and superb geographic location create a natural meeting point for artists, galleries, collectors and patrons from around the globe.
Exhibitors in 2013 commented:
“ArtInternational offers the perfect opportunity to serve our loyal Turkish collectors, while at the same time [helping us to] bridge the gap between Europe, Russia and the Middle East. In this respect, it stands out on the international circuit.”
–Mollie Dent-Brocklehurst, Pace London
“Istanbul is one of the most vibrant and dynamic emerging places for contemporary art with key collectors but also a vivid group of curators and artists.”
–Olivier Belot, Yvon Lambert
“Galleri Andersson/Sandström exhibit at art fairs all over the world and we have never found the people to be so helpful and friendly. The quality of interest and collectors at ArtInternational is impressively high, and we have had sales and strong interest, not just during the vernissage, but consistently throughout the fair.”
–Stefan Andersson, Galleri Andersson/Sandström
