Architecture is art and not science. Under the premise, that no theory of architecture binds together questions of usability and aesthetic values, of tradition and the continuity of places in time and space, the exhibition juxtaposes award-winning architecture with works of fine art. “I use the word ‘architecture’ in the sense of art, in the sense of extreme perfection” (Frei Otto).
