ONE TORINO is a major exhibition project curated by eight international curators in the city’s main contemporary art institutions and venues.
ONE TORINO is the first edition of a new annual initiative, conceived and produced by Artissima and realised in collaboration with museums and foundations of the city. It is aimed at placing Torino at the centre of an important cultural dialogue by consolidating its position as an experimental and dynamic art capital and by promoting both its contemporary and historical identity.
ONE TORINO comprises five independent yet interlinked group shows at Castello di Rivoli Museum of Contemporary Art, GAM Civic Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art, Fondazione Merz, Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, and Palazzo Cavour—a magnificent historical venue in the town centre.
ONE TORINO is an all-new event of international prominence which will be inaugurated on the occasion of Artissima 2013 and will draw the national and international public to the city from 7 November 2013 to 12 January 2014. Through the voices and visions of the invited curators, this new exhibition will bring to Torino major works of art, new productions and commissions by more than 60 artists from around the world.
ONE TORINO is a yearly project developed by Artissima.
In collaboration with the city’s main institutions for contemporary art.
With the support of Regione Piemonte, Città di Torino, Compagnia di San Paolo, Fondazione per l’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea CRT and Camera di commercio di Torino.
