THE INTERNATIONAL GUIDE TO ART FAIRS AND ANTIQUES SHOWS

First Edition: JANUARY THROUGH JUNE 2003

COMING IN DECEMBER

ARTMEDIACO ANNOUNCES
THE INTERNATIONAL GUIDE TO ART FAIRS AND ANTIQUES SHOWS

FIRST EDITION: JANUARY THROUGH JUNE 2003 COMING IN DECEMBER

At present there are more than 150 major national and international fine arts and/or antiques shows held each year. And as the number of quality events expands, collectors, collecting institutions and dealers are hard put to keep track of when and where the various exhibitions occur.

The INTERNATIONAL GUIDE will address this information. Eighty international events have been carefully selected by our editors for inclusion in the first issue, which covers the period January l through June 30, 2003. The next issue, to appear in May 2003 will cover those scheduled from July 1 through December 30, 2003. So the information is always current and useful.

Each show or fair will be given a two-page spread providing all of the vital information regarding the event. This will include title, location, dates, hours, admission charge, preview date and benefit organization, information telephone, web site, catalogue information, average attendance, sponsors, key personnel and a brief description of the show’s particular area of specialization. In addition, the listing will include names of exhibitors among the participants.

The lower two-thirds of each two-page spread will be available to two of the fair’s exhibitors to present work to be offered along with a descriptive caption and the dealer’s name.

11,000 copies will be distributed through controlled circulation to active collectors of fine art, antiques and objects as well as curators of collecting institutions, dealers and designers. 4,000 copies will be distributed internationally through art bookstores. Additional copies will be available at various fairs and shows in the U.S. and Europe and may also be purchased directly from Artmediaco.
