These are very strategic dates within the art fair calendar—opening the new year art season in Milan and making the visitor’s experience complete, with important shows in museums, special visits to private collections and other novelties will be added to the VIP programme.
Deadline to apply is December 15, 2022. We look forward to receiving curatorial projects from galleries on solo or groups show that will be evaluated by MIA Fair.
SUPERSTUDIO MAXI is confirmed as venue, being one of the largest in Milano, recently open to the public after the renovation of its amazing industrial space of 7,000 sq.mt.
Last April 2022 edition welcomed 97 exhibitors both Italian and international with more than 400 exhibited artists, a rich cultural program, displaying events such as conferences and talks covering subjects including the photography market system and the world of collecting.
MIA Fair has achieved the result of creating a strong collectors’ base which approaches contemporary art through the collection of photography.
Among the various awards addressed to the last edition participating galleries, the most important are: the purchase BNL BNP Paribas Award, the Fiere di Parma Fund established to acquire works that become part of the Fiere di Parma Collection, the Sky Arte Prize focused on a TV programme entirely dedicated to the career and artistic vision of an artist exhibited at the fair, the New Post Photography award, dedicated to the promotion of the most creative and innovative trends in the world of contemporary photography, the Irinox Save the Food Prize, dedicated to projects on the theme of food.
