Searching for new member organisations, as well as innovative projects, ideas and practices
Deadline: September 12, 2022
LINA, the European architecture platform, is helping architecture tackle the climate and environmental crisis. An alliance of architectural museums, universities, research networks, foundations, triennials, biennials, and other organisations active in the field of architecture or its cross-section with other fields, it is looking for both new architectural projects and new member organisations to feature in its upcoming Architecture Programme.
Two open calls
The call for projects invites emerging professionals to challenge Europe with their sustainable, circular, and clean architecture project, idea, or practice: applications are open until September 12.
The call for members invites organisations and institutions to take part in the 2023–2024 LINA Architecture Programme: the search is open until September 25!
Call for projects: who’s it for?
Architects, landscape architects, urban planners, designers, engineers, researchers, artists, curators, and other creative professionals at the start of their careers are invited and encouraged to join our call.
We are looking for projects and innovative practices that address sustainable and environmental challenges in architecture, with the ambition of eventual implementation. We welcome a wide range of projects, social innovations, critical practices, research and speculation that address the everyday life, ethical and social implications of the climate and environmental crisis.
If you want to actively participate in development, research, experimentation, publication, or other activities contributing to a more sustainable construction and design of our living space and environment at large, we’d like to hear what you have to say! Apply to our open call and join the LINA community.
LINA members are carrying out the LINA Architecture Programme. Taking part in their events and activities will increase your project’s visibility and help you raise it to the next level through hands-on and in-depth work with skilled curators, researchers, producers, communicators, educators, and editors. The call for projects is open until September 12.
Call for members: what are we looking for?
We’re looking for proposals for architectural happenings and events that will help form the 2023–2024 LINA Architecture Programme and will include LINA fellows (authors, selected at the call for projects) to promote them and help them develop their practices.
Becoming a part of the platform offers an opportunity to connect with prominent organisations and practitioners in Europe. The selected applicant will be invited to become a full member of the LINA platform and will receive a grant of 15,000 EUR per year to support their activities.
The new member of the platform will be announced at the LINA Conference (October 21–22, 2022, Ljubljana, Slovenia). The call for members is open until September 25.
