Galleria Fonte d’Abisso

Fonte d’Abisso Arte Gallery opened in 1978 in Modena, Italy. However, the gallery relocated to the heart of Brera, Milan, in 1989. The Fonte d’Abisso’s activities primarily focused on historic avant-guards with a particular attention to the figures of Italian Futurism like Umberto Boccioni, Fortunato Depero, Giacomo Balla, and Luigi Russolo. The gallery also exhibition a number of internationally well-known artists like John Baldessari and Christo and Jeanne-Claude. In 2001, the Fonte d’Abisso presented an exhibition of works from Salvatore Scarpitta, which was supported by the catalogue of Scarpitta’s work, edited by Luigi Sansone and published by Mazzotta in Milan. The gallery has not been active since 2001.
