Stockholm University of the Arts

Stockholm University of the Arts is a dynamic meeting place for independent artists, in which you as a student are a key figure. Stockholm University of the Arts (Uniarts) provides education and conducts research in the fields of circus, dance, film, media, opera and performing arts. Stockholm University of the Arts (Uniarts) consists of DOCH, the School of Dance and Circus (DOCH), the University College of Opera (OHS) and the Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts (SADA), a research centre and a university‐wide Academic Support function (Library and Administration).

Uniarts’ research area is Artistic Practices. This means that all research is carried out from the starting point of artistic practice in some way or other. The four subject specialisations included in the area are Choreography, Film and Media, Opera and Performing Arts, and we have about fifty artistic research and development programmed currently under way.
