On the basis of radical changes in artistic practices over the last twenty years, as well as important scientific realizations, tanzplan 2010 will consider issues such as the condition for transmitting knowledge, information and experience, educational methodology, environments and content, as well as possible educational goals. The increasingly complex and instable systems of the globalised world, make demands on teaching beyond the simple transmission of knowledge, skills and techniques. This applies as much in education in the arts as in other specialized areas of information and knowledge based society. Artists, and all those generally interested, are invited to take advantage of there trans-disciplinary further learning opportunities which, drawing on the core learning qualities of enthusiasm, curiosity and captivation, could well offer a basis for modern education at today’s Universities and Academies.
