CONCEPT
Contemporary visual art is one of the major forms of expression that is putting persons and populations from all over the world in communication using universal signs and messages that exceed the barriers of language, culture, and history. The artists are the architects of this revolution, they are the intellectual force that generates questions, thoughts, interpretations, and propose visions. Academiae Biennial aims to give voice to young artists from all over the world, to unite their thoughts in an exceptionally evocative location that becomes an artistic platform of powerful cultural and social content. A project that gives life to an international event confirming the vocation toward building bridges between cultures and populations in our territory.

The main exhibition location is the fortress of Franzensfeste , South Tyrol-Italy.
The event is a biennial appointment.

CURATOR AND YOUNG ARTISTS
The academies will participate upon invitation.
The curator selects those academy professors, who are established artists themselves, and together they make a selection of young academy students works to show at the Academiae Biennale.
