Lu Yang is a multi-media artist born and based in Shanghai. Solo and group exhibitions of Yang’s work have taken place in Ullens Center of Contemporary Art (Beijing); CC Foundation (Shanghai); Spiral (Tokyo); Société (Berlin); Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland; Fukuoka Asian Art Museum; Centre Pompidou (Paris); Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (Sydney); as well as prominent international biennials and triennials such as the ELEKTRA Festival in Montreal (2020); the Shanghai Biennial (2012/2018); the Athens Biennial (2018); the Liverpool Biennial (2016); and the Chinese Pavilion at the 2015 Venice Biennial.
