Natasha Marie Llorens Read Bio Collapse
Natasha Marie Llorens is an independent curator and writer based in Stockholm. She holds an MA in curating from the Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College and a PhD in modern art history from Columbia University. She is currently at work on a book analyzing experimental film from the 1960s and 70s in Algeria. She is also engaged in a two-year artistic and curatorial research project with contemporary artist Massinissa Selmani about an Algerian urban planning project from the same period called the “1000 Socialist Villages.” Llorens is professor of art and theory at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm.
