Delving into meme engineering, operant conditioning, and other so-called 'brainwashing' techniques, this lyrical lecture will tussle with the question of how deviance is normalized. In addition to  discussing the weaponization of pseudo-science, fictive accounts of panic and social delusion will be teased as well.

Adam Kleinman is a writer, curator, educator, and sometime performer. He is editor-in-chief and adjunct curator at Witte de With, Rotterdam, and a frequent contributor to multiple books and magazines including Agenda, Artforum, e-flux journal, frieze, Mousse, and Texte zur Kunst.
