The Film Gallery

The Film Gallery, founded in Paris in 2005, is a showcase for experimental film and filmmakers. Starting from the premise that film is an art form in itself, the gallery has exhibited in art fairs like FIAC, Offscreen and Art-O-Rama, often providing the only 16mm installations in the fair. We hold exhibitions throughout the year in our dedicated space in Paris. We also provide projectors and loopers to museums and galleries in France but also as far as New York, Seoul and Shanghai, providing maintenance for installations in Super-8, 16 and 35mm film by such artists as Tacita Dean, Rosa Barba, Paul Sietsema, Rodney Graham, Joan Jonas and Nam June Paik. Some film artists the gallery has represented include Hans Richter, Maya Deren, Jonas Mekas, Patrick Bokanowski, Stan Vanderbeek and Takahiko Iimura.
