RESÒ International Network for Art Residencies and Educational Programs—established in 2010 from a shared project between contemporary art institutions in the Piedmont Region, supported by the Fondazione per l’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea – CRT in Turin. It is a network of international art residencies, with IN (inbound) and OUT (outbound) programs.

2016 is Resò’s sixth edition. It continues its international activity with new collaborations with institutions outside of Europe and also renew some of its previous connections.

Now the network includes: Artport, in Tel Aviv (Israel) and CCAS – Canberra Contemporary Art Space, in Canberra (Australia). The partnership with Capacete, in Rio de Janeiro e Săo Paulo (Brazil), is renewed.

The inward bound program of the sixth edition is based in Pav – Parco d’arte vivente (Turin) from June to July, in Cittadellarte – Fondazione Pistoletto (Biella) and in a.titolo (Turin) from September to November.

The panel during Artissima Art Fair will be an occasion to discuss the relationship between research and residency, with artists discussing the residential experiences of the sixth edition and presenting projects by the invited artists.

Speakers:
Kirsten Farell (CCAS, Australia) and Noa Gur (Artport, Israel), 6th IN program residents at Cittadellarte – Fondazione Pistoletto and a.titolo – progetti per l’arte contemporanea. Both artists will be finishing their period of residence.
Giorgio Cugno (Turin) will introduce his collaboration with Biruchyi (Ukraine), for Resò Lab.

Artworks to be presented:
I am Welton Santos, reading performance by Sofia Caesar (Capacete, Brazil), sixth IN program resident in Pav – Parco Arte Vivente (Turin).
