Artists, designers, creative minds—the Summer University of the Arts in Berlin offers you top-class workshops in all artistic disciplines—Music, Design, Performing Arts and Fine Arts between June 6 and October 7. Current artistic techniques and discourses are presented by international teams of lecturers in experimental formats but also in a classical way as master classes. You are also given the possibility to improve your knowledge in the fields of Self-Marketing, Arts Management and Creative Entrepreneurship to get the perfect toolkit to bring your ideas to life or to develop a creative business concept.
Meet international artists and creatives from 55 different countries—get inspired by the unique atmosphere and dive into the metropolis of creativity at one of the biggest art academies in Europe.
These are the highlights of this year’s programme of the Berlin Summer University of the Arts:
Between July 19 and 21 Valerie Favre and Robert Lucander will give a deep insight into the field of contemporary painting in their workshop. And from August 1 to 3 fine artists will have the opportunity to work on their special needs concerning self-marketing issues in the international art market.
For those thinking about fundraising concepts for their next project, Susanne Rockweiler, Deputy Director at the Martin-Gropius-Bau Berlin, will offer a workshop on practices and strategies.
If you would like to get in touch working with the animated GIF format, the workshop with Nora Bilz and Magdalena Kallenberger would be the right choice—creating a digital graphic novel.
