About Centre for Contemporary Art, CCA Kitakyushu
Centre for Contemporary Art, CCA Kitakyushu is a research institution for contemporary art, founded in 1997. Since then, CCA has been presenting art exhibitions and projects together with internationally renowned artists and practitioners from various fields such as architecture and science. In addition, one of the main activities has been the CCA Research Program, a studio program for young artists and curators.
CCA moved to a new address in September 2015, and has since offered the CCA Fellowship Program for emerging artists, architects, and designers, where fellows are expected to be involved with a more professional approach in their own activities.
