The Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD), recognized nationally and internationally for innovative and interdisciplinary approaches to visual arts education, announces the upcoming Visiting Artist Lecture Series. These public lectures present esteemed visiting artists who provide exposure to new art and new ideas.

Ke Jiang, art director at thatgamecompany, has worked with Disney Feature Animation Studios and Cartoon Network on award-winning movies and cartoons such as Frozen and Wreck it Ralph.
February 26, 6:30pm
Anthony Huberman, director of the CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Art, will join Tetsuya Yamada and David Bowen as part of the McKnight Discussion Series.

Juan Sánchez combines painting and photography with other media clippings and found objects to confront America’s political policies and social practices.

Cory Robinson, associate professor of Furniture Design at the Herron School of Art, explores the relationship that the artist and designer have in shaping the experience with objects of daily ritual.

Henriette Huldisch, curator at MIT List Visual Arts Center and co-curator of Whitney Biennial 2008, will join Alexa Horochowski and Joe Smith as part of the the McKnight Discussion Series.
