Art Business Certificate
Prominent art world leaders and Christie’s Education faculty guide participants through lectures and discussions designed to provide practical and theoretical awareness of the global art market. Collecting Contemporary Art
This program focuses on the artistic strategies, collecting practices, market, and social and institutional networks of art from the late 1980s to the present. This course examines the range of wealth management and legal issues as they arise in the art world. From transactions and 1031 Exchanges to areas of due diligence and best practices, this course is designed for those with an art background who are looking to better understand personal and business wealth management issues, as well as those with a finance background and desire to understand how to develop opportunities in the art market.
